The ProofMEDIA Membership Charter defines the principles, governance standards, and operating philosophy behind ProofMEDIA Membership.
ProofMEDIA is not a mass-market plugin vendor. It is a governed software standard maintained for top professional agencies.
1. Purpose
ProofMEDIA exists to provide agencies with a stable, commercially deployable WordPress framework that prioritises:
- Structural integrity
- Long-term maintainability
- Operational continuity
- Commercial deployment rights
The Membership model exists to ensure sustainability.
2. Membership Cap
ProofMEDIA Membership is limited in size to preserve quality and governance.
We reserve the right to:
- Limit the total number of active members
- Pause new applications
This structure ensures the framework remains commercially viable and responsibly maintained.
3. Governance Model
ProofMEDIA operates under centralised governance.
This means:
- Core architecture decisions are made internally.
- Feature additions prioritises structural stability over trend adoption.
- Backward compatibility is considered carefully.
- Long-term sustainability takes precedence over rapid expansion.
Membership grants access to a maintained standard – not influence over its direction.
4. Continuity Principle
Continuity is a foundational principle of ProofMEDIA.
- Members may continue using versions obtained during active Membership.
- ProofMEDIA does not remotely disable deployed installations.
- Updates and governance remain available only to active Members.
This ensures stability for agencies and their clients.
5. Commercial Integrity
Members are granted commercial deployment rights under the ProofMEDIA Commercial Licence.
Members may:
- Deploy the framework across client websites
- Charge recurring retainers including the framework
- Incorporate it into broader agency services
Members may not:
- Resell the framework as a standalone product
- Redistribute source code publicly
- Create competing derivative products for resale
6. Professional Responsibility
Membership is intended for professional agencies.
Members are responsible for:
- Regulatory compliance (GDPR and applicable laws)
- Secure hosting environments
- Testing prior to deployment
- Ethical and lawful implementation
ProofMEDIA provides the framework. Members govern its application.
7. Long-Term Viability
The Membership model exists to ensure:
- Ongoing maintenance
- Compatibility updates
- Responsible roadmap evolution
- Commercial stability for agencies
ProofMEDIA prioritises sustainability over short-term expansion.
8. Acceptance
By applying for or maintaining Membership, you acknowledge and agree to the principles set out in this Charter.
The Charter operates alongside the Terms of Service and Commercial Licence Agreement.
