Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy forms part of the Terms of Service of ProofMEDIA (“we”, “us”, “our”).
1. Nature of Our Products
ProofMEDIA provides digital software products and licences delivered electronically.
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that:
- The product is delivered digitally.
- No physical goods are supplied.
- Access may be granted immediately upon purchase.
2. 14-Day Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day refund period from the date of purchase.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund within 14 calendar days.
To request a refund, you must contact us
Refund requests must include:
- Your name
- Order details
- The email address used to purchase
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of approval and returned via the original payment method where possible.
3. Digital Content & Consumer Rights (UK)
If you are purchasing as a consumer under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013:
By accessing, downloading, or installing the software immediately after purchase, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You request immediate supply of digital content.
- You understand that this may affect your statutory right to cancel once full performance has begun.
However, ProofMEDIA voluntarily provides a 14-day refund window as stated above.
If you are purchasing as a business (which is the intended use case), statutory consumer cancellation rights may not apply.
4. Subscription Cancellations
If you purchase a subscription licence:
- You may cancel your subscription at any time.
- Cancellation will stop future billing.
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- We do not provide partial refunds for unused subscription periods unless required by law.
To cancel, you may:
- Use the account billing portal (if available), or
- Contact us directly here
5. Effect of Cancellation
Upon cancellation or expiry of a subscription:
- You may lose access to updates and support.
- Licence validation may be restricted depending on your plan.
- Continued use of the product may be subject to licence terms.
ProofMEDIA reserves the right to disable licence keys for cancelled or refunded subscriptions.
6. Refund Limitations
We reserve the right to refuse refunds where:
- The request is made after the 14-day period.
- There is evidence of abuse of the refund policy.
- Multiple repeated refund requests are made.
- The licence has been used in breach of the Commercial Licence Agreement.
Refund approval is at our reasonable discretion unless otherwise required by UK law.
7. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
If a chargeback is initiated without contacting us first:
- We reserve the right to suspend the associated licence immediately.
- Access to updates and support may be revoked.
- We may dispute the chargeback with evidence of licence access.
We encourage contacting us directly to resolve any issues.
8. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under UK law.
If you are a consumer and believe your statutory rights have been breached, you may contact us to resolve the matter.
